There are 3 main methods to schedule a Zoom Meeting. You can schedule through the Zoom Web interface, through the downloadable client, or through your Google Calendar.
Scheduling through the Web Interface
- Sign in to OneLogin and click on the Zoom application.
- In the upper right corner, click on Schedule a Meeting
- Fill in the desired meeting details. *Please note* at least one of the security options must be selected. We also do not recommend the usage of the Personal Meeting ID (PMID).*
- Once Saved, you will be able to copy the invitation to email out to others and add it to your own calendar.
Scheduling with the Zoom Client
- Sign in to the Zoom Client.
- Select Schedule
- Fill in the desired meeting details
- A Google Calendar event will be created and you'll be able to invite others to it
Scheduling Through Google Calendar
*This requires the Zoom for Google Workspace integration, to enable the integration, see calendar integration here*
- Sign in to your Google Calendar.
- Create an event at the desired time.
- Under the video conferencing option, select Zoom Meeting
- A meeting ID/Link will automatically be generated and included in the meeting details. Scheduling a meeting this way creates a meeting utilizing your default meeting settings.
Note:
Non-recurring meeting ID will expire 30 days after the meeting is started. You can re-start the same meeting ID as many times as you would like, within the 30-days.
Recurring meeting ID will expire 365 days after the meeting is started on the last occurrence. You can re-use the meeting ID for future occurrences.
